“ Came here for our anniversary tonight. It was wonderful ! Looking from the outside it doesn’t look like much but when you open the door the atmosphere hits you. The smoke from the grill fills the air and you feel like home. Our waitress was so wonderful! She made our special night feel that much better. We had complimentary champagne on arrival and a special note. The food here was just amazing! Best steak I’ve had hands down. ( sorry forgot to take a pic). Everything from start to finish was just wonderful. We will definitely be back again. ”

“ As soon as we walked in we were greeted and sat. Service was amazing checked on us multiple times to see if the food was good- even had someone talk about the wine we ordered aswell. Definitely a great spot to go for a date or fancy occasion. The prices are higher but you definitely get the bang for your buck there. Also smells very firey as lots of their food is smoked which I really enjoyed. Nice and cosy aswell and most spots are booths for the smaller groups which I like. I got the tenderloin with cowboy butter with the ub-baby baby drink highly recommend ”

“ Don’t know if 5 stars is enough! Always a great experience at Barbacoa and we seem to always have Derek as our server. Tonight was exceptional! New menu items were !! New wine was already sold out but we scored a couple of glasses and I can see why they were gone so fast! We were walked over to the open kitchen where our steak was just getting cut. Unbelievable food and that new cheesecake… ok… that cheesecake! It’s like a Raffaelo coconut cheesecake with kind of a keylime sauce… unreal and stupid addictive! Highly recommend! Kind of don’t wanne share this and have it get too busy ”

“ "I Alberta Beef" but a little more elevated. We've had brunch and dinner, and every single item was a hit. The cocktails are great. Not a huge dining room, but they always have a table open. Candlelit steakhouse vibes. If you really want to indulge, try the gigantic fresh cinnamon buns. ”

“ Absolutely phenomenal experience tonight at Barbacoa, my server Kiana was amazing and provided amazing advice on what to try. I enjoyed the Bacon and eggs, Tropic like it's hot, Geometria Malagouzia, and Peach cobbler. All amazing and worth a stop on their own! ”

“ The steak here is ah-mazing. They were out of the tomahawk and Kiana our delightful server recommended the bistecca cut and it was so delicious and super flavourful . The mushrooms and the single giant prawn was cooked perfectly. They even personalized a birthday message on a card. It was really sweet and thoughtful. Highly recommend getting steak! Would celebrate a birthday here again. The decor was also very cozy as well. Also drinks the Pink Pony Club and Violet drinks were yum! ”

“ Each time I visit Edmonton, I make a point of taking clients to Barbacoa — especially those who've never been before. Last week was no exception. We shared a beet salad and I enjoyed the Barbacoa Burger with fries and a Stella — absolutely delicious. Christina took care of us and made the experience feel like we were dining at home. Outstanding service and incredible food, as always! ”
